Peru: Stepping into the Light

The itinerary

Lima to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, then Cusco, and finally the Amazon rainforest.

1. Arrival

   Lima

   Airport pickup and transfer to our beautiful hotel.

2. Day 1

   Opening ceremony

   Opening ceremony, then a walk in Cat Park and sightseeing. 3 meals included.

3. Day 2

   Fly to Cusco

   Fly to Cusco City and transfer to the Sacred Valley. 3 meals included.

4. Day 3

   Sacred sites

   Ollantaytambo tour and a Pachamama ceremony. 3 meals included.

5. Day 4

   Pano train

   Train to Machu Picchu Pueblo and time to explore the town. 3 meals included.

6. Day 5

   Machu Picchu day

   Sunrise at Machu Picchu, then the train back to the Sacred Valley. 3 meals included.

7. Day 6

   Maras and Moray

   Explore the Maras salt mines and the Moray circles. 3 meals included.

8. Day 7

   Seminario

   Morning free, then Seminario ceramics in the afternoon. 3 meals included.

9. Day 8

   Pisac to Cusco

   Morning session, an afternoon with llamas and alpacas, and the Sacsayhuaman site. 3 meals included.

10. Day 9

    Tipon site

    Tipon aqueducts, a free afternoon, then dinner and a music show. 3 meals included.

11. Day 10

    Iquitos

    Fly to Iquitos City, then take a boat to the lodge. Relax at the lodge. 3 meals included.

12. Day 11

    Lodge day

    Visit Monkey Island, boat on the Amazon, and more. 3 meals included.

13. Day 12

    Lodge day

    Visit the Ceiba tree, then fly to Lima in the afternoon. 3 meals included.

14. Day 13

    Lima day

    Morning free for rest and shopping. Evening painting with Ehua. 3 meals included.

15. Day 14

    Closing ceremony

    Closing ceremony, lunch, and packing. 2 meals included.

16. Day 15

    Travel home

    Our tour is officially over. Flights leave the night before or today before noon.
